Oh yes. In fact I read a bit about the history of absolute zero when this conversation started. It's fascinating to see how they estimated where the bottom of the scale was, and how they then refined that number over the centuries.
Knut 🏳️🌈 🇳🇴🧸I was SHOCKED when I found out that this is true and it's been well studied. I was browsing #ProjectGutenberg looking for tasty things, and found a translation of Beowulf I had not seen. And it said this is appropriate for the 7th grade. And I'm like "unless you're a freak like me, you don't do Beowulf unless you are in an AP English program in high school" But, a typical 7th grader should be able to read and understand Beowulf. Most people don't even get the movie. #literacy #books
