Lovely outdoor Spring day home packed lunch at the park + why not, ice cream from store across from the school during the break. Headed back for the afternoon sections for more on chemical (and physical) changes and reactions and molecules and polymers other fun stuff. Great to see the kids get excited - and creative. Ok time go back in and feed their brains

They want an echo chamber where the voices of the leaders is all we hear. No, thank you. Time to bow out and direct my energy elsewhere.

But even as I know this is the right choice, my heart hurts and I’m feeling grief. This organization and the people therein have been valuable parts of my career. I have wonderful friends from/in this group. Taking a step away will change things. And change is hard. 😔
