It isn’t done till you lint roll.

I’m halfway through a two-part commission for a new collector. This first panel is built from the finished edges of roughly 300 garments from my own collection. The second panel will be all denim, supplied by the client.

More soon.

In Chopin Residue, the creative process is part of the artwork.
Vinyl threads are cut from deconstructed music, carefully transformed into visual forms, and captured on video.
The project explores the intersection of sound, matter, and image - where every action, from cutting to recording, becomes an essential layer of the work.

Process.
Transformation.
Material.
Sound.
Vision.

Before the sound becomes vinyl, it’s cut.
One by one.
81 records.
Each carved live, in isolation, over two days.
Not duplication — destruction.
The lathe is a ritual tool, not a machine.
What it leaves behind becomes the core of the installation.
Thread, dust, silence.
Captured in @BunkierSztuki in Kraków.
