Ik hoorde laatst een verhaal over een vrouw, haar baby camera was gehackte gewoon door een fout in de beveiliging. Ze hoorde ineens lachen en praten via de camera omdat mensen aan het meekijken waren.

Hoe vaak zijn wij bewust of onbewust onze eigen digitale veiligheid aan het ondermijnen? Door simpelweg niet te zorgen voor goede wachtwoorden, of door slimme apparaten die we niet volledig begrijpen. De technologie is geweldig, maar we gebruiken het met een onzorgvuldigheid die ons kwetsbaar maakt. Elke keer dat we geen goede beveiliging gebruiken geen 2-traps verificatie, geen backups maken zetten we de deur wagenwijd open voor misbruik.

Hoeveel van onze privacy en veiligheid kunnen we nog echt beschermen?
