With Bending Light, students can explore light between two media of different indices of refraction and play with different prisms(shapes and materials) https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulations/bending-light/ #Optics #Prisms #physics
In the #PRISMS Open Scholarship platform you can model both the material legacies and digital remediation processes of all digital editions. PRISMS employs #SemanticWeb technologies, and it is easy to contribute to the knowledge base:
Are you teaching a rare MS or out of print book? Why not make a digital edition of it, or even better, ask your students to collaborate!
Our training course is free and the edition can be published #OA in the digital editions platform #PRISMS:

I've played around with using #mylar to create #LightTubes, #prisms and #mirrors and other #reflective surfaces to change or shape light direction and spread, #Fresnell lenses to magnify small amounts of light, etc etc etc.
I've learned lots of interesting things but I am still a LONG way from being hired to light the interior of a #pyramid. 😀
