Today I’m a bit disappointed with my prints: I expected a better look.

What I learned is that the more the masking tape ages, the hard is to get a void ink coverage.

This masking tape technique is a kind of “one and done”.

Ì also re-used a couple of plates I made weeks ago and the tape is so dry that I had to soak it in ink to get something barely acceptable.

Thinking about this, it’s not a bad thing: it makes what you print a true “original”

Today’s Masking Tape Prints. When it comes to large areas with solid black it’s hard to get a uniform coverage.

I think I need oil based ink and a larger brayer.
