I'm still astonished by what I endured for the sake of a paycheque. To be fair, I was also doing it because terribly vulnerable people relied on me to do what I did. I'm still extremely relieved that I left that field of work when I still had some wellbeing left. And, I've been doing #PrecariousWork ever since but it's work that I love and which boosts me up.

World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2023: EESC calls for EU legislation on preventing work-related psychosocial risks

On the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2023, the European Economic and Social Committee is calling upon the European Commission to adopt binding legislation to prevent psychosocial risks in the workplace. There is mounting evidence pointing to the fact that precarious work is taking a significant toll on workers' mental health. The call was made during yesterday’s EESC’s plenary session, chaired for the first time by the newly elected president, Oliver Röpke.
