May is the busiest month of the year in the greenhouse. Now, at the end of the month, the propagators have been put away and most of the tender plants have disappeared. The recent hot weather has enabled me to plant these out or get on with putting them into window boxes, hanging-baskets and planters.
What remains are mainly tomatoes, peppers, chillies and cucumbers; these are nearly ready to go into their final containers.

Peppers potted up, up-potted, day 48 after planting seeds. A little root bound but nothing unusual. They don't look that great, too damp for as cool as they've been but it's better than drying out and wilting.

Tomatillos and 10 of the tomatoes done too. Still more to pot up and two new gallon size roses taking up some space now till it's warmer out.

Added the mini greenhouse and coldframe to the lower patio setup. The coldframe is used to harden plants off at the end mainly into May and as extra storage. The mini greenhouse is an overflow from the big one behind as there are lots of plug plants coming to grow on now in the post. example is pic 3 the first ones arrived calibrachoa and are potted up purple, pink and white in colour . #gardeningmastodon #greenhouse #pottingon #pottingup #beddingplants
