Mayor Chow concludes 24-hour citywide pothole repair blitz
Winter has taken its toll on Toronto’s streets and the city is stepping up repairs after a surge in pothole complaints. According to the City of Toronto, more than 73,000 potholes have been repaired since January. A 24-hour blitz to repair more concluded Saturday evening, with Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow taking a stab at filling a pothole.

This is not only affecting my car, it's affecting health too. The constant jarring as you hit another pothole is causing me neck problems. I've given up reporting these roads as nothing ever happens. You have vehicles out and about every day. It's not hard for these to keep you informed. Can you please just get out there and do what your supposed to.

Large stretches of Llangyfelach Road are filled with potholes and subsided areas. Longview is a patch of concrete and bad repairs. The very large speed bumps have potholes before and after them so your suspension gets a really good bashing. Hollett Road hasn't been touched in about 9 years, it was falling apart then. It's a complete disgrace now. Pentrepoeth Road and Clase road are getting more holes and cracks every day.

Nice to see Swansea Council spending money on dropping the speed limit on Clasemont Road and installing some really nice big traffic calming measures. Wouldn't it be nice if they could spend sometime bringing the other crumbling roads in the area up to scratch. I had the misfortune of travelling on Oystermouth Road the other, it's in a shocking state.
