I just visited this exhibition in Brussels. I'm actually posting this while I'm still sitting in it. I had never heard of this guy before. He seemed to have had a happy life. It looks like it was easy to be him, but perhaps he wasn't so at ease. It must be hard to be a successful conceptual artist when the line between depth and scam is so fine. At least he didn't seem to have money issues. Some of the exhibited work was interesting, especially when he referred to the work of others. After some time, though, I felt more annoyed than inspired. But I guess that says more about me than the work.
