“At press time, North America’s influencers have begun being replaced by AI influencers who are all currently endorsing selling your healthy organs to extend the lives of wealthy billionaires.”

ps. Feudalism (“post-capitalism”) is what we get when the self-styled “anarcho-capitalists” (Milei in Argentina, & his fumbling crony in the USA) tear down what actually makes “the market” somewhat accommodating of democracy.

America’s influencers suspiciously all start endorsing feudalism

PALO ALTO, CA - Across the United States and Canada social media users have noticed a recent trend of influencers heartily endorsing a system of landowning elites extracting service and labour from rent-paying serfs.

#Solarpunk: A Deep Dive into the Cultural Revolution #Reimagining Our Future

The Philosophy Behind the Movement: More Than Just #SolarPanels

Solarpunk represents not just an aesthetic or literary movement, but a comprehensive framework for reimagining human civilization. Its strength lies in combining practical technical solutions with radical social and cultural innovation, while remaining grounded in ecological reality and human needs. As we face cascading environmental and social crises, Solarpunk offers not just hope, but a practical pathway forward that is both revolutionary and achievable.

Excerpts: "While mainstream coverage often focuses on Solarpunk’s aesthetic elements, the movement represents a fundamental reimagining of human civilization’s relationship with technology, nature, and itself. At its core, Solarpunk challenges the dominant narratives of both techno-optimism and eco-pessimism, proposing instead a radical middle path that embraces both technological advancement and ecological wisdom.

#Decolonial Roots and #Indigenous Influence

"Often overlooked in basic Solarpunk discussions is the movement’s deep connection to #IndigenousKnowledge systems and decolonial thinking. Many Solarpunk principles mirror traditional ecological practices:

- The concept of “#SeventhGeneration” decision-making from #Haudenosaunee philosophy
- #AustralianAboriginal practices of landscape management and fire ecology
- #Andean concepts of “#BuenVivir” (good living) that emphasize harmony between human communities and natural systems
- Traditional #Asian #agricultural practices that create #ClosedLoop systems

The Political Economy of Solarpunk
Beyond #GreenCapitalism

"Solarpunk explicitly rejects the notion that market forces alone can address environmental challenges. Instead, it proposes alternative economic models:

- Commons-based peer production
- Gift economies for local exchange
- Circular economic systems that eliminate waste
- Democratic ownership of key infrastructure
- Time banking and alternative currencies
- #Degrowth economics in overdeveloped regions
#TechnologicalSovereignty

"Unlike techno-utopian visions that centralize control in #corporate hands, Solarpunk advocates for:

- #OpenSource technology development
- #CommunityOwned and maintained infrastructure
- Appropriate technology scaled to local needs
- #RightToRepair and modify equipment
- Distributed manufacturing through #makerspaces
- Knowledge sharing networks independent of #corporate control"

Early currencies like shells or salt supported barter and exchange. Capitalism shifted money into a tool for accumulation — linking value to scarcity (silver, gold, fiat) and fueling inequality. #MonetaryTheory #PostCapitalism

#PostCapitalism

For decades leftists have cheerfully called some especially troublesome developments in our society #LateStageCapitalism or post capitalism - acting like those developments were a sign that capitalism has run its course and we'd be freed from it soon.

I never understood that, as the natural successor to (hyper) capitalism is fascism, not socialism.
I wish I had been wrong.

@phneutral @parismarx @danmcquillan True to some extent. We see artificial scarcity in a greater extent today then ever before although not everywhere yet. We still have to work e.t.c.. What Ai can bring is the last mile so to speak. For us to be really free.. we need food, energy and transportation without cost. Today these things still cost.. and thus not free.. thus not abundant. With Ai and through robots this can truly be made freely as no real work by humans is needed.. and real abundance.

Yes, with Ai and robots I see it possible we could have an
#UBI based society. #postcapitalism .. Where we ourselves chose what we will do with out own time... but this can probably not be done without "thinking" robots.
