Took me a bit, but this is my best theory:

My #cat caught a damn #opossum in the catio. It presumably played dead. He must have then dragged it through the fucking #catio (about 7 feet vertically up ramps/platforms) and into the house, to play with it. Like a monster.

We have relocated the slightly injured critter to a cardboard nest outside.
