Salem artist reimagines the city’s manholes as portals to another world - Salem Reporter

Using public data, Sophia Wood made a creative map assigning more than 10,000 manholes in Salem a code name, risk level and destination. She hopes the project will give writers and artists prompts as they explore the city.
