It's official: Port Alberni hosting Sir Wilfrid Laurier Canadian Coast Guard ship for her refit over the next few months.

Canadian Maritime Engineering is doing the work.

It’ll be fun to see her get all spified up! My wife and her family attended the christening and launch of the ship in the 1990s in Collingwood, ON. It was the final ship to be launched from that yard.
