We emphasize that the partial opening of the crossing and its limited operation do not meet the scale of the worsening humanitarian catastrophe faced by more than 20,000 sick and wounded individuals waiting for the opportunity to travel for treatment abroad, in light of the lack of necessary medicine and medical equipment. We stress that the right to treatment is not a favor or a pressure card, but an inherent right that must be protected to save lives. Continued zionist procrastination means more suffering and is a flagrant violation of the operational mechanisms guaranteed by the ceasefire agreement.

The tightening of the siege and the military control over the lists of travelers through the Rafah crossing is a systematic criminal decision to turn the Gaza Strip into an uninhabitable area and to undermine all international efforts.

We hold the American administration fully responsible for the catastrophic conditions and for the practices of the zionist enemy at the Rafah crossing, including non-compliance with the designated numbers and systematic violations against returnees, which have manifested in physical and psychological abuse, harsh interrogation, extortion, and the use of its outlawed gangs and militias to terrorize, question, and threaten returnees.

We call on the mediators and guarantor states to take urgent action to put an end to these flagrant breaches and violations, and to compel the zionist enemy to open the Rafah crossing in accordance with the standards of international and humanitarian law, and to begin implementing the second phase of the agreement, which stipulates the zionist withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.

The American project in the United Nations Security Council is a tool to consolidate Zio-American hegemony and another form of Zionist occupation, a new trap to disarm the resistance, and turn the Gaza Strip into a relief file under foreign guardianship.

We will not accept the deployment of any international or foreign forces inside the Gaza Strip to replace the occupation, nor will we accept an American role in controlling the administration of Gaza. Any international support for this decision will be considered alignment, bias, and legitimization of the foreign presence on the land of Gaza.

We look forward to an Algerian position that expresses the aspirations of all the peoples of the nation by rejecting the American project to re-occupy Gaza and not allowing any harm to the national rights of the Palestinian people, affirming our people’s right to self-determination. We also call for an Arab position and movement that redefines Arab national security and places the conflict in its political and existential context, not just the humanitarian one.

We call on all the peoples of the nation and all the free people in the world to escalate solidarity movements with the Palestinian people and Gaza, reject all criminal schemes against our people in Gaza, work to find quick solutions to rebuild the Strip, bring in humanitarian, relief, and medical aid, and stop the violations of the Zionist enemy against the ceasefire agreement.

Statement Issued by Hezbollah on the American-British Aggression Against Yemen

Hezbollah condemns the blatant American-British aggression against dear Yemen, which targeted residential neighborhoods in the capital, Sanaa, and several provinces, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of innocent civilians. This aggression is a desperate attempt to deter the steadfast Yemeni people from continuing their heroic support for the Palestinian people and their ongoing pressure to lift the unjust siege on Gaza and allow the entry of humanitarian aid and relief.

The targeting of civilians and vital facilities in Yemen once again reveals the true and ugly face of the American administration, which practices terrorism and bullying against nations that oppose its hegemonic policies in the region and the world. This barbaric attack constitutes a war crime and a blatant violation of international laws and norms. It aligns with the “israeli” aggression—backed by the United States—against Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and the region.

The steadfast Yemeni people, who have sacrificed their martyrs’ blood in epic battles to support the Palestinian cause and stand with besieged Gaza, will not retreat in the face of this cowardly aggression. With their wise and courageous leadership, they will continue their honorable role in defending the causes of the nation. The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine strongly condemns the large-scale American aggression against Yemen, affirming that it is an extension of the war crimes and genocide practiced by imperialism and zionism against our Arab peoples.

We express our full solidarity with our brothers in Yemen, extend our condolences to the martyrs who have fallen in this unjust aggression, and wish a speedy recovery to the heroic wounded. We affirm that the blood of these martyrs will remain a beacon of resilience and resistance, and it will not be in vain; rather, it will strengthen Yemen’s determination to confront aggression.
