I apparently missed the boat on the whole Bygglek partnership with IKEA a few years back. I think these storage boxes are pretty cool, but they don't sell them anymore. I found these on a GoodWill auction. I got all three for $12!! (plus shipping) - not sure what I'll do with the storage boxes yet, but stay tuned.

I have to say that I've gotten pretty #lucky with my #mysterybox purchases lately. This last one turned out to have a bunch of #minifigs in it. And since I only paid $21 (plus shipping) for the whole box, I'd say I did pretty well. Thanks GoodWill!

Interesting thrift shop find today. This is set #3049, known as Championship Challenge. It was only sold in Europe, so I'm not sure how it wound up here. Obviously missing a lot of pieces, but somebody might want it, so I'm going to clean it up and list it.

I found these little plastic wheelbarrows at resale for $2.70 each. Bought two and put them up on FB marketplace 2 for $10 and advertised them as cute little herb planters. Had like 5 offers within a couple hours. Ran back to the resale shop the next day and there were two left so I bought them again. Flipped them again for $10. Made $9 for my efforts but, hey, if you can't make it popcorn, make it in peanuts.

Things you find in '70s era sci fi books from the resale shop. Frankly, I don't remember the name of the book or what passage it might have been bookmarking. I was just too excited to pocket the punch card when no one was looking!
