It won’t be fast, but it’ll be current and secure, which makes me happy. And I only need it to do one thing every once in a while, so its speed won’t really be a factor. #PopOS #MacMini

StormDay 2 of considering Pop OS just for a possibly better gaming experience. It's so different from Mint which is keeping me from seriously thinking about it though. But it's also a "Games might run better" kind of thing. Gotta look at lots of customization videos to see how much I can get it to look like Windows/Mint
What got me thinking about it is how MMSFLC has that Denuvo switch limit. Ran fine earlier today after it finally didn't crash, but now I'm just getting a black screen. Heard Pop was good for that and nvidia drivers so hmm

Michael HarleyY'all, I'm running #PopOS on an old 13 inch MacBook Pro. I'm really wanting to upgrade to something new and with a better keyboard but maybe I just replace the battery, repaste the CPU and blow the thing out with canned air and call it good for another 5 years? It feels a smidge slow but I think repasting and canned air will help with heat throttling.

- Disk: 466 GB Apple SSD (LUKS encrypted, ext4, 50% used)
