am not a sociologist, but it’s fascinating that just after the queen dies, a woman is elected archbishop of Canterbury. not just any bishop or dame, but a former #NHS nurse and midwife.

so it’s pretty huge #PopeLeoXIV will host Archbishop Sarah Mullally, who is stopping at Rome as part of her first pilgrimage as archbishop.

Monday will be historic, with a woman archbishop standing side-by-side with da Pope in the vatican.
