Poor Lucy had to go to the vet today to get spayed. Everything went well but she was not happy at all with this turn of events and she's currently sleeping it off.

Poor Avalon has been having to wear a cone due to some sores on her paws that she wouldn't allow to heal. She is so rambunctious in this cone, and she thinks that because she looks pitiful, she should get away with more 😂
Lemon is still sick, it's a struggle to get her to eat anything and to give her her medicine. But we managed another day, hopefully tomorrow will be a little better.
Lucy initially went to chomp on her sister's tail but decided to keep her company instead.

Lemon was clearly feeling a bit under the weather these last few days (again 😓) and at first I thought that it might just be the stress from having a new kitten that got to her. But then she stopped eating her kibble and started drooling, so back to the vet we went. Turns out she has a painful infection on her tongue that is causing her problems. The vet have us painkillers for her, let's hope they help.

Poor Lemon is doing a lot better already, all of her tests came back ok and she's eating again. But the fact that I tucked her under her blankies 2 hours ago and she's still there tells me she's definitely not back to her old self. I'll make sure to give her as many cuddles as she needs. ♥️

Our poor baby is sick. She suddenly stopped eating yesterday, instead she was vomiting almost nonstop. We took her to the vet who had a lot of trouble drawing blood from her because she was tensing up so much. They had to try three of her legs, and her neck got shaved and jabbed three times before they could get enough to run the required tests. Needless to say she was pretty traumatized by the time we got home.

Omg, Lemon just ran downstairs like a maniac and started running laps through the living room in a blind panic. I saw something hanging off her tail but she didn't even hear me when I called her. Finally she ran up her scratching post just as I was standing next to it, and I saw they were these sticky fly catchers that were in the flower pots upstairs. I quickly pulled them off and she even hissed at me, that's how terrified she was. Poor baby.. 😢
Clearly I'm not the only one overwhelmed and exhausted from all the kitten drama. ♥️
