The rain stayed away for this mornings Poolbeg parkrun which is always a bonus and much appreciated by all participants and volunteers! This week 212 participants showed up to start their weekend on a high by running, jogging or walking the course. We had 54 first timers amongst which a hen party and visitors from Scotland, Canada and New Zealand.

Of the more regulars 36 managed to record a new PB with representatives of 23 different running and triathlon clubs taking part. Well done to Brian, Michelle and Emily for joining the 50 parkruns milestone club and to Anne-Marie for completing her 150th parkrun today. A lovely morning with bright sunshine and very little wind made for amazing conditions for all the walkers, joggers and runners that took on Poolbeg parkrun this morning! In total we had 265 participants who ran, jogged and walked the course. 62 joined for the first time with visitors from the USA and Australia but also from various other Irish parkruns. #parkrun #poolbeg #poolbegparkrun

Another gorgeous day for a #poolbegparkrun. I was scanning again, and for one reason or another wound up scanning the first thirty or so of our 265 finishers before the relief party arrived to help out! Big shout-out to Clara who was looking up barcodes and _live registering_ newcomers! #parkrun

We also had Christiaan from maximaparkrun who did Poolbeg as his 50th different location, with these being across 11 countries and he got to all of them without flying! Pretty impressive achievement on its own! Of the more regulars Poolbeg crew 28 recorded new PBs and representatives of 20 different running and triathlon clubs took part. Well done to Michelle and Carole for reaching their 25 parkruns milestone today and to Lorcan for reaching his 100th! #poolbegparkrun #parkrun
