Mesurant environ 275 mètres de long et près de 49 mètres de haut, le Pont du Gard possède trois niveaux d’arches. Ce pont est le plus haut aqueduc romain connu au monde encore debout et l’un des mieux conservés.

The ancient olive tree at the Pont du Gard.

It is thought to be over 1100 years old, dating from 908. It was brought from Spain in 1985 when the Counsel General of the Gard adopted the tree, and planted it here in 1988.
