Yesterday I planted a few White Ragged Robin, in a boggy area, and one Pickerel Weed in a deep basket.

The bright pink flowers of the Flowering Rush (Butomus umbellatus) really stood out from the mainly white and yellow flowers lining Lancaster Canal at the moment.

Conditions on the Glasson branch of Lancaster Canal very pond-like as currently closed to boat traffic. Found some Greater Spearwort (Ranunculus lingua) growing at the water's edge.
