A wheatear... one of my favourite summer visitors.
It's one of the first of a little project I've started working on where I'm making local birds out of polymer clay. It won't stay this big - it will be "reduced" (to follow!). Having said that, this is definitely much bigger than I intended, so yet another lesson learned.
As someone clever once said, "He who never made mistakes, never made anything".
