Wir starten eine neue dreiteilige Serie an den Ketten, und dieses Mal wird es düster, intensiv und technisch. Part 1 fokussiert sich auf den „Inversion Drop“ – den Moment, in dem man die Welt wortwörtlich auf den Kopf stellt.

Während Aerial Silks oft durch fließende Weichheit bestechen, bringt die Arbeit an der Kette eine ganz andere visuelle Härte mit sich. Der Kontrast zwischen den glänzenden Overknee-Boots, dem groben Mesh und dem kalten Metall der Kette erzeugt eine fast cineastische Spannung. Es geht um Vertrauen – in die eigene Kraft und in das Material, das einen hunderte Zentimeter über dem Boden hält.

The dance, choreo and expression part of a routine doesn't come as naturally to me as the tricks. PSO was the first time I performed a choreo that consisted completely of my own moves. It made it so much more special✨. Thanks to the amazing Madina who made this possible by pushing me out of my comfortzone and start dancing more freely🤗

Flips are my comfortzone 🥰

My motivation and body have been slowly getting better again. Decreasing the training load has helped, and also adding in some more pole moves and sessions just for fun has worked wonders. Today I had one of my open sessions at Younity Utrecht, which was so much fun💘. The vibe was awesome. It was so good to see everyone have fun and support eachother. I managed to try my routine once as well

The proudest moment of my PSO performance. I am so happy and proud that I managed to pull off a Russian split this flat🤩

Last year I saw it at the Dutch championships (NK) and I was so amazed by it. I for sure thought it was beyond my capacity. However a few months later we trained it in an advanced class, and it didn't feel entirely impossible. So I started training it (a lot) with the idea to perform it at the championships in 2026. I used PSO as a try out for this trick to see how far out I was from meeting the demands for this trick to count in the NK. But it was already there! Sometimes you surprise yourself✨
