Terza pole consecutiva per il giovane pilota italiano, in testa alla classifica iridata, che rifila ben 0″399 al britannico e compagno di scuderia George Russell, che aprirà la terza fila in quinta piazza. “E' fantastico essere in pole dopo una Sprint difficile – le parole a caldo di Antonelli – La qualifica è stata molto buona, non ero molto entusiasta del primo giro in Q3 ma è bastato per la pole. MIAMI (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes) in pole position at the Miami Grand Prix, the fourth race of the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship. The 19-year-old from Bologna clocked a time of 1’27″798 and leads Max Verstappen’s Red Bull by 0″166. It’s the young Italian driver’s third consecutive pole position, leading the World Championship standings, with a lead of 0″399 over his British teammate George Russell, who will start fifth in the third row. “It’s fantastic to be in pole after a difficult Sprint – Antonelli said – The qualifying was very good, I wasn’t very enthusiastic about the first lap in Q3 but it was enough for the pole. I hope for a good start tomorrow and I hope not to lose positions. We are trying to get the most out of the car’s performance.” Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) finished third, 0″345 behind, and Lando Norris (McLaren), the current world champion and Sprint winner, finished fourth, 0″385 behind.
