MDMRNAfter a few days in Withered Wasteland, I decided to try out one of the newly accessible areas!
I walked into what's called Bleak Beach. Met three new 'Mons in the area so far, including Meowth.
A lot of the area has buildings that are partially submerged, so I've been spending some time damming up the water. Which is cool new thing to work on!
It's also aggressively dark, but I see sparks of potentially electricity around here. And I got some power lines that I just...found.
So, new area to explore! This is cool.

Started on the 10th. Finished the story on the 20th. Post-game quests on the 21st.
Kept playing at least some each day since.
It's nice to have one of these cozy games where there's a concrete, satisfying "ending" you can reach in relatively short order, which shifts the game into a mode where you can just aim for completion at whatever pace you prefer.
I want to find Absol tomorrow. Absol is cute.
