Thinking back on it, it kinda sucks that your rival ends up getting the Cubone from Lavender town when the game makes a point of giving you awesome Pokemon like Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan and Lapras; but Cubone is off the table, come on 😑

Sure you can easily just catch one, but I wanted THAT one. I was the one who rescued it from Team Rocket, would have been awesome for it to then join your party 😞

And that’s the #PokemonLetsGoEevee Elite Four done and dusted 🎉

Admittedly, it was a breeze compared to the Elite Four of #PokemonBrilliantDiamond 😵

Still got a few things to do before moving on; Cerulean Cave, Gyms and Elite Four rematches, completing the Pokédex and beating trainer Red.

#PokemonLetsGoEevee Fuchsia City Gym cleared.

I want to like this game. The partner system is cool, cinematics are nice, visuals are great.

The #PokemonGo inspired catch mechanics detract from the experience. Never before has an UltraBall been this useless. Instead, you are expected to stuff your target with Razz berries until they are too bloated to resist.

Don’t get me started on the game not supporting the Pro Controller 😑

Next up, Cinnabar Island Gym.

Recently cleared the Saffron City Gym in #PokemonLetsGoEevee

Clearing the Silph Co. building was such a slog. But Routes 12 through 15 towards Fuchsia City were even worse. Feels like most of the routes so far barely had any trainers on them; these routes however were littered with them 😑

Next up, Fuchsia City Gym.

Responsibilities and Hollow Knight have kept me busy.

Finally had some time to play #PokemonLetsGoEevee again, cleared the Celadon City Gym; now on #NintendoSwitch2.

I enjoy offshoot titles, especially #PokemonLegendsArceus, but this game irks me with its catch mechanic. It’s always a tedious process to grind for levels, but this game for me feels like that tedium has been turned up to 11.

I’m enjoying my time overall, but am really looking forward to #PokemonSword.
