At each Pokémon Center in Japan, check for location-exclusive logo pins.

Every city has a unique pin design: Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Yokohama. They're affordable, lightweight, and make perfect gifts.

I collected pins from every PKC I visited. Ask the staff if you can't find them on the shelves. One of the easiest "can't buy this elsewhere" souvenirs.

Pokémon packs at retail price in every Japanese convenience store.

No markup. No hunting. 7-Eleven, Lawson, NewDays, and FamilyMart all carry packs at MSRP. Check the card aisle near the registers.

For latest sets, Pokémon Centers restock mornings. Sapporo PKC had the best selection and was least crowded.

Each PKC also has exclusive pins you can't buy elsewhere.

Best pack selection of all the PKCs I visited. Least crowded. More exclusive pins. Tax Free. The cold Hokkaido weather probably keeps crowds away; your gain.

Go in the morning for fresh restocks. Ask for the Sapporo-exclusive pin; one of the easiest can't-buy-elsewhere souvenirs from Japan.
