And I am so lucky!

When it became apparent that I really loved cross stitching, my mother handed over the two cigar boxes with threads that she had received from her mother-in-law (my paternal grandmother). Whenever I start a new project, I seldom have to purchase new threads, because I can usually find an alternate color to fit the design.

Occasionally, I will buy new threads, and I love the idea that the cardboard cards will have DMC numbers in my grandmother's, my mother's and in my handwriting.

For this project, I am not buying new threads, I will simply swap DMC º3 for DMC º318.
