Across many languages, the moon carries emotional meanings of love, loss, and cyclical existence. But what does it mean to be the moon itself, to bear partial responsibility for the tides, to serve as a projection screen for wishes and desires, and yet to be taken for granted?
By turning our attention to tides and cycles, time opens for shaping our lives with greater care. In attuning ourselves to these rhythms, we may learn how to leave behind traces of healing for those who come after us.
