Yes, I didn’t win the prestigious Prize, but had I won I would never have received these beautifully written – and very witty – words from Annie, who herself pays homage to Tom Jenks’ inspirational Spruce in her exploration of how two works of experimental poetry, a little bug from Wuhan and a whole lot of innocent pangolins just happened to collide.
