when will it stop?
everything ends
drink the last drop
as the wound mends
it had to happen:
the pain and the pleasure
so had fate woven
the path to our treasure

when will it start?
no longer needs proving
passions are moving
we'll need a new chart.
when will it happen?
that two horse dream
a heartful of greed
far beyond need

Someone left a very nice ("Canada Nice") message about of the last poems I posted, Carnival Rations. It is so hard to get feedback when every other person it out there offering this or that perspective, and there is nothing wrong with that, but I think even regular readers are shaded in such a way they feel compelled not to comment.
