I wanted to buy a #WeeCee at the time, but it was too much $$
But I bought a #Pocket386 when that came out, and it's great with FreeDOS! VGA output connected to my desktop monitor, I only needed to buy a PS/2 keyboard (I lost my old one several moves ago.)
I regret to have to inform you of the untimely and most inconvenient passing of the PS/2 and VGA connector cable of the Pocket 386.

Does anyone know how to connect an ISA-16 expansion board to the #Pocket386 ? I have the expansion board for the ISA-8 port (same one as for the Book 8088) but no 8 bit cards....
Any hints appreciated! Please be so kind to boost!

LBA, только CHS.Всё оказалось не так печально: LBA не поддерживается только интерфейсом BIOS'а, а при взаимодействии с ATA контроллером через порты ввода-вывода сектора прекрасно читаются по последовательному номеру, начиная с 0.
Today I found out:
My eeePC running #FreeDOS works much better than the #Pocket386. Must have something to do with 2G of memory vs 8M.
And 15x faster CPU.
