On my hike today, I came across this downed tree that was absolutely covered in mushrooms. This is the most mushrooms I've seen on a tree (so far).

I recently got a spiffy 360-degree camera. We hiked Blue Lake recently in North Cascades National Park and I did a time-lapse of the descent. I learned that I need to select a different lapse-delay and that I need to be more careful about keeping the camera steady, but the video is rather interesting.

On June 28th, my husband and I headed to the Sunrise portion of Mt. Rainier to hike. When we arrived, thick clouds obscured our views... But we still set out on our hike along Sourdough Ridge Trail. Not even 20 minutes in, the clouds began to lift and we could see the mountain. Originally, we were only going as high as First Burroughs Mountain, but we decided to go up to Second Burroughs before loping back.
