In the 1980s in New Orleans I saw this show "Sugar Babies" with Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller. It was a bunch of Vaudeville bits strung together. The dancing was amazing, especially Ann Miller. People of my generation may be familiar with the phrase "Eat your heart out, Ann Miller" that Columbia says in the movie "The Rocky Horror Picture Sow".
Didn't get half the jokes but had fun. Candy thrown.

Went to see "King Lear" as performed by the actors at The Commonweal Theatre in Lanesboro, Minnesota.
Wonderful production. Modern clothing with some actors playing multiple roles.
They have this Friday and Saturday and a Sunday matinee closing show left. If you're in the area and can afford the money and time it's well worth it.

My wife likes the "Broadway" channel on Pandora. I suppose there are licensing issues that prevent many of the showtunes I know from before 1990.
The kind-of current songs I like are mostly from "Dear Evan Hansen" and "SIX".
