Tie your hat, this is going to be a fun ride.

So I go to take my shower. While I'm taking it, I hear a bizarre sound in the bathroom. I peek around the curtain and sure enough, the toilet is bubbling. The water level does not seem to be rising, so I just laugh it off.

As I shower, I notice that the shower drain seems partially clogged. Okay, I'm going to have to plunge it.

After the shower, I start plunging, and I plunge, and I plunge. I plunge to the point that I'm thinking I may need to buy a snake to snake it. (I've lost my snakes in the divorce.)

Then I remember the bubbly toilet. I decide to flush it, and sure enough, there's a clog. So I decide to plunge the toilet, and bingo! I've unclogged the toilet and the shower drain at the same time.

Don't ask me how it all works behind the scenes. I've done some plumbing and I know about venting, but I don't design plumbing. Going to the toilet was just a hunch, based on the earlier bubbling, but it worked! 🥳
