Just got my #PloopyAdept by @ploopy and it's so cool—not to mention larger than I expected!
Currently testing it out on my #Thinkpad X230 Tablet which already has the "ThinkPoint", so it's a bit redundant (not to mention awkward because it's perched on an armrest of my chair—I couldn't wait 😅) but I'm looking forward to using it properly on my desktop tomorrow. Photos forthcoming 📸

Finally got around to flashing #VIAL onto my #PloopyAdept trackball. (So glad VIAL has an actual GUI and not just an Electron wrapper like VIA.)
I'd been using an Elecom Deft before, which is honestly pretty nice. But the Adept has been fantastic for alleviating RSI, and having layers is pretty slick. Flashing the VIAL firmware was practically drag-n-drop, too, since it's RP2040-based. I wasn't sure about the form factor at first, but it's already a nicer experience than my last #Ploopy trackball (a Thumb, which was also pretty nice, but I like the Adept better).
Ploopy Adept is an open source, customizable trackball that sells for about $60 #OpenHardware, #OpenSource, #Ploopy, #PloopyAdept, #Trackball
