Frage an die #grapheneos #Android Nutzer mit Erfahrung: wie viele Nutzer Profile sind praktikabel? Eigentümer Profil nutzen ? Und wenn ja, wie?
Ich hatte jetzt für das Eigentümer Profil ein reines #FDroid Profil geplant...
Im zweiten Profil dann der ganze Rest, der #Playservices benötigt?
Oder besser letzteres nochmal aufteilen in ein Profil mit #Aurora Store Apps die nicht zwingend playservices benötigen?

Do I miss anything here or do I really need either an #Apple or an #Google #Android-Smartphone with full and privileged #PlayServices to commission devices via the "open" #Matter standard? Even for Home Assistant?

@KainEAhnung damit hab ich mich nie auseinandergesetzt, ich bin bei #bunq gelandet vor Jahren, vor allem wegen den vielen Features und der klaren Preisstruktur.
Mittlerweile haben sie auch Aktien und Crypto handel, was ich nicht so toll finde alles in einer App.
Aber dafür läuft die App ohne #Google #PlayServices.

⚠️ PSA for those using the #GoogleCamera alias #GCam:

Starting with version 10 the GCam no longer works without Play Services installed. Latest version known to be working without them is 9.9.

If you are affected by this and don't want to get the update by accident you should blacklist the app in your app store such as #AuroraStore.

A sei mesi dal lancio dei documenti sugli smartphone tramite l’applicazione IO permane l’incompatibilità con ROM custom come GrapheneOS. Un cittadino ha chiesto il motivo ufficialmente e ora è arrivata la risposta.

Confirmed. InPost #app really couldn't work on degoogled #Android phones. Possible to install e.g. via #AuroraStore but during launch it hangs on error message about lacking #PlayServices.
