My #plasmaglobe in the dark is so hypnotic. It's not hot to touch generally but the ionised gases can apparently reach up to 20,000 degrees Celsius.

Can't believe I got this for £1 (~$1/€1) at a carboot (a sort of British yard sale or "vide-greniers" in France.
