New KDE Frameworks and Plasma packages

KDE just announced the KDE Frameworks 6.25.0, and earlier this week they came with Plasma 6.6.4. I built the packages for those new releases - targeting Slackware -current of course. Along with these updates I also refreshed KleverNotes, Krita, Kstars and Okteta to their latest versions. You can find the packages in my 'ktown' repository...

Filip Fila and Nuno Pineiro are bringing the classic #Oxygen #theme back to Plasma

Tastefully colourful icons, shadows, transparencies and shiny buttons are all part of the spectacular reimagined themes Air and Oxygen being painstakingly reconstructed from scratch by the designers.

#KDE #Plasma6 and #Dolphin are great, but the mouse hover tooltip is terrible. It’s a huge box full of completely useless information. For example, the file size. “Size: 3 items”? It should be in kilobytes, megabytes, or gigabytes. Why is there a star rating? And with image files, the box is even bigger. You can’t even change these settings.

Pitäisi olla koko kilo-, mega- tai gigatavuina. Kuvatiedoston kanssa vielä isompi laatikko. Näitä ei voi mitenkään muuttaa edes.
