#PlantProfile: #patchouli (Pogostemon cablin)
this friend has been calmly growing in a semi-shaded spot for some time now.
it smells wonderful when you brush against the leaves.
i've dried the leaves in the solar oven, but they pretty much lose their smell. also i never have enough leaves to make oil.
it grew a couple keikis underneath itself & i successfully transplanted 1. don't think i've gotten any seeds to sprout, but i might be collecting them too late (when they're fully dry).
