We compared the influence of two #resistance inducers, BTH and Chol-BTH (#ionicliquid) on #plantdefense & #antioxidant properties of #plants using #transcriptomics and targeted #metabolomics.

We found out that Chol-BTH, due to its physicochemical & biological properties (upregulation of lignification-related genes, #peroxidase activity, total #phenolic compounds levels) can also be useful agent inducing plant resistance against viral pathogens
