Kensington Gardens, Gathering Storm.
London, 2025 — Rolleiflex 2.8D; Tri-X, red filter.
The field waits under a changing sky; light divides the hour between warning and grace, and the trees stand as if they remember both.

Threshold, Kew Grove.
London, 2025 — Rolleiflex 2.8D; Ektachrome.
At the edge of the grove the light shifts, brushing against bark before dissolving. Here matter gives way to radiance, shadow to breath. The redwood becomes less a tree than a presence — the point where the visible begins to pray.

Ascension, Kew Grove.
London, 2025 — Rolleiflex 2.8D; Ektachrome.
The gaze turns upward through a tangle of branches, following light as it fractures and reforms. In this unfamiliar sky the redwood still gestures homeward — the vertical made devotional, the canopy answering like a choir.

Cathedral, Kew Grove.
London, 2025 — Rolleiflex 2.8D; Ektachrome.
Photographed in the redwood grove at Kew Gardens, far from their native coast, this trunk stands like a built thing — a column of patience, the body of a tree become architecture. The air is hushed around it, as if aware of entering a sanctuary.
