Durante la cerimonia, sono state svolte diverse attività, tra cui l'alzabandiera della bandiera del PLA, il saluto da parte di ufficiali e soldati alle bandiere del Partito Comunista della Birmania e del PLA, il tributo ai caduti con salve di fucili, il canto dell'inno dell'Esercito del Popolo, una parata militare, il saluto al Capo di Stato Maggiore del PLA e discorsi da parte dei leader. L'evento si è concluso con il canto corale dell'Internazionale, rendendo omaggio e segnando il successo della celebrazione del 4° anniversario del PLA.
