"Holiday for Strings", written by #DavidRose, is an instrumental composition best known for its use as the theme song for #TheRedSkeltonShow for over 20 years and as the theme for the Brazilian Game Show Pra Ganhar é Só Rodar o Pião da Casa Própria (To win your own house just spin the wheel) aired by #SBT. Written in 1942, this piece is still recognized today as a classic American composition. The #pizzicato strings.

Because of a minor surgery and a gig that didn’t require much #pizzicato, I didn’t practice pizz very much for two months, and my right fingers got pretty soft. I’m recovered from the surgery and that gig’s done, so I’ve hit the pizz practice hard yesterday and today. My right fingertips are screaming right now. It’ll be some very sore days until those calluses come back. #bass #doublebass #jazz #music

Dwie ostatnie wizyty w FN w tym sezonie - 2 tyg temu Szymanowski 10/10, a wczoraj The Whoop Group przearanżowujący na #saksofon a nawet cztery wszystko co się da. I o ile takie aranżacje Komedy nie były może czymś zaskakującym (choć zagrane przepięknie) to II kwartet smyczkowy Wajnberga już tak ;) Do tej pory nie do końca czaję jak się robi #pizzicato na saksie xd ale da się. Część na góralskich motywach Paderewskiego subiektywnie pominę w szczegółowym opisie.
