For some reason today I've been thinking about the #PizzaRat video that went viral over 9 years ago. That little brown rat is almost certainly dead now, but there's something sweet in the thought that humans captured his image on what was probably the happiest day of his little life.

@NBCNewYork @local-news-NBCNewYork The biggest rat I ever saw was in the Coney Island-Stillwell Ave subway station. It was so big, that you would be hard pressed to squeeze it into a one gallon paint can. I have no idea what it had been eating but, if it was pizza, it was probably taking the entire pie. #rats #nyc #pizzarat #coneyisland
