If you have a #Pixelphone with touch unlock on the screen, be aware that many screen protectors will effectively block this feature. Screen protectors that are “Made for Google certified” seem to work OK. I wish someone had told me this two years ago, so I’m informing my Fediverse friends, in case you hadn’t heard.

Anyone have any good suggestions for phones that can loaded up with an AOSP or Linux distro? My refurbbed Pixel 6a seems to have given up the ghost.

Am I the only one noticing that when android "wakes up" (on a pixel 7 pro) the display that it flashes brightly before showing the lock screen where before the June 5th update, it would just show the lock screen.

This is especially noticeable at night as it's really bright compared to the dark room.

I have the feeling that FairPhone is much more sustainable, but that GrapheneOS is much better than eOS...
