started my day trying to figure out email validation in #pixelfedglitch. the app is PHP & Vue. i have written neither language.

i briefly considered that i'm stubbornly denying myself the quick solution of prompting a chatbot to roll the dice and maybe surface the code line that validates the string

i went digging, found the email validation regex, found out it enforced that emails start with a letter. all in 20 minutes

no chatbot in sight. just grep and patience. today was a good day.

We're looking why federation does not work on our #pixelfedglitch instance jugopiksel.top 🧑‍🏭 . Any ideas how to troubleshoot? #askfedi It was working until we updated from v0.12.5-glitch.1.11.0 to v0.12.6-glitch.1.12.1.

I miss a bit more detailed application logs (I'm used to Drupal's watchdog)
