Piriformis syndrome became a bit of a buzz term in the health and fitness industry. It’s popularity outpaced its true prevalence however and is commonly a misdiagnosis.
Many people with piriformis syndrome are recommended various stretches. While that could be beneficial, if true piriformis syndrome is not the cause of your sciatica then those stretches are often harmful.

Tight #piriformis. Definitely not #sciatica. Pain along #hamstring, especially at the top and under glute, sometimes groin.
I do some stretching that my #physio has recommended.
Any experience, in terms of how long that lasts?
