Last year at @hopeconf I brought the #PirateBox concept back from the brink and talked about how the sharing of information and knowledge with them is super important, as sharing off-grid (ya know, Sneakernet!) will become pivotal in this day and age.
With what's going on with #Wikipedia, it's important that we have Pirate Boxes and offline copies of Wikipedia on hand.
And as the Internet continues to fall to #enshittification, I'm turning up the juice to talk about taking it back. 
My proposed #HOPE talk builds upon and follows from last year's #PirateBox talk, where I want to teach people about rewilding the web, gaining digital sovereignty, and running their own servers and services.
I want to also touch upon BBSes, IRC, Usenet, Matrix, @VeilidNetwork, and more.
Part educational, part hacker punk energy. It's how I roll.
Let's fucking hack the planet.

Know what I'm thinking? LineageOS + Termux + Copyparty (which does run on Android!) + microSD card support = a Pirate Box in mobile device form factor!!
